Kim and Kanye’s Valentine’s Threesome with Justin Bieber

Were you wondering how Kim and Kanye spent February 14 together? Well now you can stop because Kimmy has posted all the details from her Valentine’s Day on her Instagram and Twitter.

Kim, North and Kanye went to Alexander Wang’s fashion show in the morning, visited an ADIDAS store in New York––to surprise Kanye x ADIDAS collaboration fans––and later that night they met up with friends, Justin Bieber and Dave Chappelle.

The couple wore matching black outfits and kept it casual for an evening out with friends. Kim wore a stunning black cocktail dress and Kanye wore a classic black hoodie. Strangely, Bieber also happened to match the couple in a black long sleeve t-shirt.

Although the giant gestures of love (like the 1,000 roses Kanye gave Kim last year) on Valentine’s were absent, the day looked to be a happy and successful one.

North West Pulls a Naomi Campbell, Disses Alexander Wang?

North West, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s daughter, has become a regular in the front rows of fashion week. The tiny tot is regularly seen sitting in the best seat in the house––Kim’s lap––and usually in a matching mommy and me designer outfit to boot. It seems as though all the stress of New York Fashion Week is getting to North however, as she threw her second tantrum of the week at Alexander Wang’s fashion show.

North West on the verge of tears.

The 1 year old’s first tantrum happened at her dad’s runway show. According to Daily News, Kanye West was unphased by her outburst and said “Maybe she was just scared for her daddy. She just wanted people to stop being mean to her daddy. Because she knows that her daddy loves the world and just wants to make it a more beautiful place.”

Other people were less sympathetic. The editor of Elle, Anne Slowey, was overheard complaining about the noise while Nicki Minaj was visibly uncomfortable. Eventually, Kim took the toddler backstage in an attempt to placate her.

So why did North start crying at Alexander Wang’s show? Rumors that she hated the collection have been put to rest. A source told US Weekly that the photographer directly across from North was holding a toy monkey that looked like her own. The source said, “She is obsessed with it and when she saw the photographer holding the same one, she started crying and reaching out with for it for a few seconds.” It is still unknown why the photographer even had a toy monkey in the first place.

North West’s runway antics are quickly making more headlines than Naomi Campbell’s. Where will she throw a tantrum next?

Blake Lively Reveals Post Baby Body at NYFW

Blake Lively returned to New York Fashion Week yesterday, marking her first public appearance since giving birth to her daughter James. Lively showed up for Gabriela Cadena’s runway show in a black and white frock that showed off her flat stomach and radiating natural beauty. She matched the dress with a black coat, bright yellow clutch, and strappy white stilettos. If it weren’t for the tabloids, no one would know that the 27-year-old actress had given birth just two months earlier.

Blake Lively has legs for days, despite having just given birth.

The mystery behind the baby girl’s name was exposed just a few days ago. Although the name ‘James’ sounds like a boys name, it’s not weird considering that her mother is named Blake. Gender is becoming superfluous to names these days, as Ryan––James’ father’s name––has been gaining popularity as a girl’s name.

Ryan Reynolds has been promoting his latest film, The Voices, but remains tight lipped on the subject of his daughters name. Despite being secretive, however, Reynolds is gushing about being a father. «The best thing about [being a father]—well, everything’s great about it,» Reynolds told E! News at Sundance last month. Unfortunately, Ryan wasn’t able to show off his post baby body at New York Fashion Week.

The Breakfast Club is 30 and Fabulous: 8 Looks from the 80s

The 80s gave birth to some of the greatest teen dramas of all time including Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, Fast Times at Ridgemont High and Sixteen Candles, but one stands out as capturing the essence of teenage angst best: The Breakfast Club.

On February 15, 1985 John Hughes brought the realm of high school to an unparalleled reality when he pitted five students in a library to do weekend detention. Now, thirty years since it’s release, the film still comprehends the struggles and triumphs of what high school life is like. From the sharp dialogue to the character dynamics and, of course, the unforgettable fashion.

80s fashion is distinct and The Breakfast Club does an incredible job at showcasing the decade’s style. Watching the film can feel like entering a museum with an exhibit on period fashion on display; it makes some nostalgic, others inspired, and can even educate.

From chunky knits to crop tops, enjoy a blast from the past with The Breakfast Club in the slideshow above.

Between scheduling concerts, runway shows and just hanging out, famed BFFs Taylor Swift and Karlie Kloss have found time to pose for Vogue together. The two stars were shot by Mikael Jansson for the March cover of Vogue––aptly titled Taylor & Karlie Unstoppable, Inseparable, Adorable.

The spread highlights their friendship bracelet worthy bond. The two are pictured frolicking in the sun, baking cookies, and singing sweet nothings to each other all while being dressed in the finest designer names like Marchesa and Valentino. If their friendship doesn’t make you jealous, their clothes certainly will. See the complete spread on Vogue.

As if gracing the cover of Vogue together wasn’t enough, Karlie used an image from their shoot to publicly ask Taylor to be her Galentine. Though the pair have only known each other for one year, their friendship was written in the stars––or rather by the stars.

“People had been telling us for years we needed to meet, I remember makeup artists and hair people going, ‘Doesn’t she remind you of Karlie? God, she and Karlie would be best friends. They’re the same. Karlie’s such a good girl. She brings us cookies every time we do a shoot,’” Taylor told Vogue.

Taylor and Karlie are also taking the next step in their relationship. According to Vogue Karlie was the one that persuaded the pop star to move to New York, probably so that the two could be closer together.

Lady Gaga Confirmed for the Oscars: 7 of Gaga’s Most Ridiculous Looks

Lady Gaga will be performing at the 87th Academy Awards on February 22. The popstar, known for her outlandish looks and incredible voice, is reportedly paying tribute to Stevie Wonder.

Gaga’s last album was a collaboration with Tony Bennett in 2014 that got no love at last week’s Grammy Awards. Rumors have been flying that she is working on another studio album, but they were soon squashed this week. Oscars’ producer, Craig Zadan, said, “Lady Gaga is a once in a lifetime artist whose musical evolution keeps growing. We are proud to have her perform on the Oscars for the very first time.”

While we have no doubt that Lady Gaga’s performance will be one for the books, we can’t help but wonder what outlandish ensemble she’ll wear onstage next.

Mayor de Blasio Gives $15 Million to Made Fashion Week

New York’s Mayor, Bill de Blasio is the latest supporter of high fashion. The mayor has lauded the industry’s profitability as well as the thousands of jobs that the industry provides, and announced earlier this week that he is pledging $15 million for the sake of fashion. That’s three times more money than ever before and the money will be given in the form of internships, grants, and technology.

The mayor made his pledge at the Made Fashion Week kickoff event put on by Milk Studios. This pledge comes right after the announcement that New York Fashion Week will be leaving the Lincoln Center and also be acquiring Made. According to Observer’s Style section, de Blasio said “In very real economic terms, this industry is more vital than ever […] When you believe in something, you invest in it. The city of New York is tripling our investment in fashion initiatives.”

Considering that New York’s fashion industry is said to generate $2 billion in annual tax revenue and create $11 billion in wages, $15 million is a small price to pay for fashion.

Did Uma Thurman Go Under the Knife?

Uma Thurman’s face has become the subject of much debate after she walked the red carpet this past Monday night. The Pulp Fiction actress looked dramatically different at the opening premiere of The Slap––a new mini-series that she is starring in. Tabloids, Twitter, and even the Today Show have all been asking: Has Uma Thurman gone under the knife?

Image via Instagram

The actress has denied all rumors of plastic surgery, and has instead credited her change in physical appearance to her makeup. Uma told Today Show host Savannah Guthrie, “I know I look weird! I don’t know, I guess nobody liked my makeup.”

Uma’s makeup artist, Troy Surratt, also denied the rumors. Surratt told Refinery 29, “We did a much stronger brow and a bold lip for a French sort of feel […] I applied a creamy foundation for all-over glow, and then contoured the hairline and her cheekbones, adding warmth […] and then we just kept the eyes really, really light.”

Uma’s lack of eye makeup was apparently to blame for her ‘transformation’. Despite all of the negative feedback, however, Uma has responded with her signature grace and remains unphased by the incident.

Carrie Hammer Brings First Model with Down Syndrome to NYFW

Jamie Brewer, famous for her role in FX’s American Horror Story, made her debut appearance as a runway model at New York Fashion Week for Carrie Hammer’s show. The monumental occasion marked the first time a model with down syndrome walked the catwalk at New York Fashion Week. The show was appropriately titled ‘Role Models, Not Runway Models’ and featured clients of Hammer’s that included women of all heights, weights and ages.

Hammer is not unfamiliar to breaking the mold at New York Fashion Week. Last year, when she was invited to show her children’s line at the coveted fashion week she included a model, Danielle Sheypuk, who became the first model on the runway in a wheelchair. “We were never trying to make a statement,” Hammer said to TIME. “We don’t think of [Sheypuk] as being in a wheelchair. We don’t define her that way… but it went really viral. We got hundreds of emails from girls and their moms thanking us.”

Hammer hopes to take the ‘Role Models, Not Runway Models’ on the road to various national fashion weeks in the near future.
