Kylie Jenner is the Next Kendall Jenner, Makes Runway Debut for Kanye West X Adidas

Kylie Jenner is the next Kendall Jenner and we can’t say that we’re surprised. In honor of her brother-in-law’s collaboration with Adidas, the 17 year old made her big runway debut––and the world has nothing but nice things to say about it.

The youngest member of the Kardashian-Jenner clan proved herself as one to watch, stealing the show from one of the most highly anticipated and most exclusive runways of the season. All eyes were on her as she took the runway in slicked back hair, a bare face, and unsurprising confidence.

Though Kanye’s collection with Adidas was leaked a few days before the show, Kylie’s runway debut was one of the best kept secrets of the season. The front row included Beyonce, Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour, and North West but Kylie was no where to be found. Moments after the show took place, guests took to Twitter to rave about Kylie’s surprise modeling debut.

In addition to introducing the fashion world to their new It girl, the highly anticipated Kanye West X Adidas Collaboration revealed Yeezy Season 1, hinting that there are many more collaborations to come, along with the YEEZY BOOST Sneaker.

A Sophisticated Display of Botanical Brilliance at the Armani Privé Haute Couture Show

We take you to the catwalk show of the Georgio Armani Privé Paris Haute Couture collection spring/summer 2015. This year celebrated the 10th anniversary since the introduction of the Armani Privé line and it was a fittingly fresh and elegant show for the occasion.

The main theme and inspiration was bamboo. From the the sticks to the leaves, bamboo was everywhere! The runway was lined with illuminated golden bamboo sticks and even the models’ hair and drop earrings mimicked the solid structures. The eastern influence went beyond nature with hints of Japanese traditional garments like obi belts and wide leg culottes being sublimely reinvented. The subtle colors also gave an organic zen-like Japanese calm with muted grays and blues and a dash of matcha tea green.

The bamboo motif returned in a variety of prints and embellishments, even the paneled structure of some of the garments and glimmering long beads echoed the mighty plant. We saw a range of simple box jackets and chic tailoring along with intricate pleats and folds, gorgeous sheer and transparent fabrics in trousers and dresses with appliquéd details. The most spectacular garments were the fully feathered gowns, which transformed the figures into creations of an exotic botanical world.

The challenge was to get a different picture,” Litovsky said about her avant garde style of photography. She captures her signature looks with a handheld flash and a bit of luck, timing and balls of steel.

Miley Cyrus Gets Naked: Porn or Art?

Miley’s latest strip down stunt has the internet asking whether or not getting naked is porn, art, or both. The singer and former Hannah Montana star released a provocative video where she appears in little more than bondage. The short film ‘Tongue-Tied’ was produced for Miley’s Bangerz tour and was rumored to have been submitted to the NYC Porn Festival.

It appears the internet jumped the gun with this rumor, however, as a spokesperson for the ‘Wrecking Ball’ singer has denied submitting the video. According to Page Six, the spokesperson said “Miley was proud to make a film with acclaimed filmmaker Quentin Jones. She did not instigate this festival submission and is not participating in any way.” It appears that the organizers of the film festival, which is scheduled to take place in Brooklyn from February 7 to March 1, misappropriated Miley’s film for publicity. As per the singer’s request, the film festival and affiliates have removed ‘Tongue-Tied’ from their schedule. Watch the viral video below:

Between ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ bringing bondage and S&M to the mainstream and the Kardashians baring it all for high fashion, the lines between sex, fashion, and art seem to be increasingly blurred. One thing is for sure, though. Despite all the bad rap Miley’s been getting about her video, it pushes the boundaries and is undeniably artistic––whether you think it’s pornographic or not.

57th Grammy Awards WORST Red Carpet Ever: 20 Worst Dresses of All Time

Featured Video

The Grammys have taken place and with it, like with any good awards show, comes the best and worst dressed lists by everyone from Vogue to your mom. Choosing the best and worst dressed of the red carpet is usually cut and dry, but this year the Grammy Awards’ red carpet FAILS definitely outnumbered the red carpet hits. It’s official, this year will go down in history as the WORST red carpet the Grammy Awards’, and my poor eyes, have ever seen. Madonna mooned the audience, Iggy Azalea’s hair was actually a bread basket, and Pharrell’s date thought it was appropriate to wear a grey tracksuit. Either Mercury is in retrograde or the apocalypse is finally upon us because I have no idea what these stars were thinking when they hit the red carpet last night.

The 57th Grammy Awards will henceforth be known as the year in which everyone wound up on the worst dressed list, see the gallery of offenders above.
