British super model Jourdan Dunn, the face of the Burberry spring/summer 2015 campaign, has scored another fashion milestone appearing on the cover of Vogue’s UK edition. In recent years British Vogue has faced criticism for the lack of ethnic diversity on its covers, particularly compared to its American counterpart.

Highlights from the Telstra Perth Fashion Festival in Australia

Fashion One brings you highlights of the Telstra Perth Fashion festival in western Australia.

We give you a look at everything from behind the scenes hair and makeup to exclusive VIP access and the fantastic runway shows.

Founder and festival director Mariella Harvey-Hanrahan told us just how proud she is of the 5 day event and the homegrown talent it celebrates.

Dubai’s Michel Cinco showed his beautiful spring-colored gowns with transparent tulle and lace while Sebastian Gunawan’s bold and contemporary evening wear was apparently inspired by a 17th century still life painting.

The event saw a special luncheon event and fashion show by Australian department store Myer. Designer Alex Perry expressed his excitement to be there and involved in the thriving Perth scene. The following days included a wide selection of events and runway shows including Flannel, NOM*D, Morrison, One Fell Swoop, Wild Horses, Zhivargo and New Zealand brand Zambesi.

James Franco Dominates Headlines With Style

Featured Video

James Franco jumps from headline to headline, week after week, tackling literary debates, producing films, starring in movies, causing controversy, and making hearts swoon. His style and fashion have developed into a taste that is refined and rugged.

This week. Franco was seen at the Sundance Film Festival where he opened up about the controversy surrounding his latest silver screen appearance in The Interview, talked about his latest role as real-life murderer Christian Longo, and joked with co-star Emma Roberts on her kissing abilities.

“It’s funny to see all the different reactions, and the way they also changed,” Franco told The Daily Beast at Sundance. “At first, it was as if all of Hollywood was under attack and we’re representing Hollywood, and then you have these right-wingers coming out and saying, ‘Go see this movie!’ Newt Gingrich and Mitt Romney are saying, ‘Go see this movie!’ without having even seen it themselves, just because.” Franco interpreted Gingrich and Romney’s support as temporary at best.

True Story, another of Franco’s many projects premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. The movie is based on Michael Finkel’s book about his relationship with a convicted child-murderer, Christian Longo. Franco had plenty to say about his role as Longo to Reuters, «He’s probably the worst person that I’ve ever played, just because I have such a great family and there’s just something so horrible about killing your kids. So I have very little connection to him.” The film makes its debut to local theaters on April 10.

Franco said to Heroine Magazine and Emma Roberts, “I felt like our kiss was better in the second movie than in Palo Alto. So either you got better at kissing… [or] I was thinking maybe you were just being an amazing actress.” Emma Roberts and Franco recently shared the screen in I Am Michael where they took their second embrace.

James Franco is the man that men want to be and women want to be with. His style has matured and become admirable. The evidence is in the slideshow.

Street Style Outshines Scientology at Sundance

Featured Video

The Sundance Film Festival is the second most coveted festival of the year––the first being Cannes––held in PARK CITY, Utah. The weather is cold and the coats are on in the streets. The stars show us how to dress in low temperatures with scarves, jackets and boots.

This year blacks, blues and greys were the central foci of fashion at the greatest American film festival. Among the stars and starlets, the best dressed were Ewan McGregor, Winona Ryder and Ryan Reynolds.

Every year Hollywood’s hottest migrate to the small city in Utah to unveil upcoming and lauded blockbusters, tiny indies, and everything inbetween. It proves to be an event worth noting year after year.

Alex Gibney, director of the controversial HBO documentary on scientology Going Clear, managed to mobilize the religious group in a media blitz to stir protests at the films premiere at the festival. No protesters showed. Films are flying off the racks, seen as potential money makers for straight to Video On Demand consoles and platforms. Between the controversial Scientology HBO documentaries and buying sprees propelled by Video On Demand, the red carpets and after parties prove to be a scene to witness in winter fashion tips. Check out our favorite looks from the festival in the slideshow.

Kim Kardashian in Fur Again! And Kanye Matches

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, or Kimye as we so fondly love to refer to them, landed in fashion headlines again this past weekend. The couple had the media swooning over their matching, all-black Balmain outfits at the BET Awards on Saturday-where Kanye was awarded the Visionary Award-and then again when leaving the ceremony at the airport.

Kim was caught in fur yet again but, to our relief, there was not a furkini in sight. This time Kim chose to cover up with a fur stole and leather pants. Of course, none of her outfits would be complete without Kanye by her side. The award winning rapper wore a matching jacket with a fur-lined hood and dark grey skinny jeans.

With Kimye’s reappearance in fashion headlines, we were reminded of how much we love their matching couple’s looks. Just in time for Valentine’s Day, check out our gallery above for the best-and cutest-Kimye matching moments.

Courtney Love Reunites With Frances Cobain 5 Years Later

Courtney Love’s daughter, Frances Cobain, reunited with her mother at the premiere of Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck at the Sundance Film Festival this Saturday where both hugged it out in front of the cameras. The HBO documentary is the first authorized film about Cobain and Frances served as a visual artist and executive producer on the film.

Courtney and Frances had been apart for five years after Courtney lost custody of her daughter in 2009. 22-year-old Frances attacked her mother on Twitter for Courtney’s accusations against former Nirvana member, Steve Grohl. Courtney accused Grohl for hitting on Frances in 2009, and Frances retaliated by urging Twitter to ban her mother from the site. Courtney later apologized, tweeting, «Bean, sorry I believed the gossip. Mommy loves you.» In 2014, Love and Grohl put aside their differences and appeared on stage together at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, which welcomed Nirvana into the prestigious fold, according to E!.

It’s always a happy sight to see mother and daughter put away their daggers and love each other once again.

Courtney Love has always been a rollercoaster of emotions and sobriety, but one aspect in her life always remains constant: her style. She was the curator of female grunge fashion, with running makeup, tattered clothes and wild hair. For this, Courtney will always be remembered as a fashion innovator.

Take a look at Courtney’s trademark looks in the slideshow above.
