Giorgio Armani Thinks Madonna is “Difficult”

Giorgio Armani is refusing to take the blame for Madonna’s fall at the BRIT awards during her performance of her new single ‘Living For Love’. Madonna insisted that it was the cape’s fault and not her own for the minor tumble. The designer was responsible for making the cape that pulled the pop star off the stage and down a short flight of stairs last week. The luxury fashion brand said Madonna “is very difficult”––as we can all imagine the most famous diva in the world would and should be.

“Everybody was worried that my cape was going to slide off because it’s quite heavy, so they tied it really tight around my neck,” the 56-year-old singer explained to ITV’s Jonathan Ross. But contrary to this, Madonna strategically leaves out the details that leave only herself to blame. Armani said, “The cape had a hook and she wanted a tie, and she wasn’t able to open it with her hands.” Watch the wipe out here.

Despite playing he said she said, Armani and Madonna continue a loving relationship according to a representative from the Madonna camp. The horizon is full with more collaborations between the fashion label and the pop star.
